You know the saying, “when in Rome…”

But when in New York, seeing a Broadway show is one of the absolutely unmissable things you need to experience.Even if you’re not a regular theater-goer, it’s impossible not to get caught up in the hype around Broadway productions in New York. There are so many to choose from, ranging from classics like Phantom of the Opera and movie adaptations like Disney’s The Lion King, Aladdin and many more. You could see a different show each night for weeks and still not scratch the surface.

Broadway is simply one of those tourist attractions that locals love. Most of Broadway’s 41 jewel-box venues are located in the theater district—that is, 41st Street to 52nd Street and Sixth Ave to Eighth Ave. Every season brings a new wave of mega musicals, plays and star-driven revivals. From the talented performers to the amazing sets, you’ll find it difficult not to be blown away by whatever show you chose to see.

We only had the time  to see just one show and we saw the musical broadway Sister Act.Based on the 1992 film of the same name, Sister Act tells the story of aspiring disco diva Deloris Van Cartier. From its brightly colored costumes to its hummable tunes and wholesome message, Sister Act is a family friendly musical all the way.

Extremely over-excited for the show!

I wish to watch more Broadway shows in future , the experience is magical. The connection between the cast and the audience is in the moment and full of energy, emotions. They feed off each other and the actors know how to work with the always-changing audiences.

Leave your modesty at the door, notice the shoes and prepared to be dazzled.
There are more than 800 pair of shoes in the show, all handmade by Maison Clairvoy, a small Parisian workshop that has been making shoes since 1945. Great shoes are so vital to the performances that the Moulin Rouge actually purchased the shoe company a few years ago.
Not to give too much away, but there are feathers (lots of them), there are lights, there are pythons (five of them!). Plus, tiny horses, screams, acrobatics, singing, a French cancan, and absolute gobs of sparkle.I love dance, musicals and broadway so I really got into the celebratory mood.

To be honest Moulin Rouge is a bit overpriced but just go for the experience as you’ll be hard pressed to find a cabaret experience as historic and entertaining as the Moulin Rouge.

An evening in Paris at Moulin Rouge!

One of the most popular shows playing in Las Vegas is “O” from creative powerhouse Cirque du Soleil. O’ is , the French word for water.A definite must-see in the glitzy desert, the show is an aquatic mix of artistry, surrealism and theatrical romance blended together in a phenomenal production at the lovely Bellagio Resort.

The show features an international cast of world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers and divers that perform in, on and above water to create a breathtaking experience in a magnificent theater with mind boggling sets.Inspired by the concept of infinity and the elegance of water’s pure form, “O” dazzles from start to finish. The thrills come fast, each one more remarkable than the last.Your heart is in your mouth through the act and theater is filled with gasps of astonishment and awe.

Magnificent sets and acrobats at their best act!

This has got to be the craziest performance I have ever seen and live.I consider myself really lucky to catch a show of Cirque Du Soleil, words are not enough to appreciate the talent of these world class acrobats.Everyone visiting Vegas should definitely watch a show by the supremely talented company Cirque Du soleil.

Acrobats suspended from great heights amidst water is all what this show is about!
